Ireland head coach Scott Bemand has praised his team for asking questions of England that the visitors have not faced in the Six Nations in modern times.

John Mitchell’s side ultimately won 49-5 having scored six of their seven tries after the interval but they trailed to Amee-Leigh Costigan’s opener and Ireland frustrated the perennial Championship winners time and again in that first 40.
