An historic day for Connacht opens door to new opportunities for Castlebar

Bringing a game of this magnitude from the home of Connacht Rugby in the Dexcom Stadium in Galway is not only huge for the province but an important marker for Castlebar as it opens new doors to bring crowds of over 26,000 thousand to the town.

It is an historic day for Connacht Rugby as they will not only play their first professional rugby game in Castlebar but it will also be their biggest ever attendance for a home game.

Over 26,000 people will descend on Castlebar on Saturday for the sold out interpro against old foes Munster.
