Decade after Munster glory, Will Leonard still riding rugby rollercoaster

Will Leonard won Munster Schools Senior Cups with Crescent in 2013 and 2014. For the last six years, he's played professionally in the US but it has been a wild journey. Later this year, he hopes to make his international debut for the USA Eagles.

2024 was a nightmare season for Will Leonard. After the Major League Rugby rug was pulled from under him and teammates in Atlanta, and the franchise was moved to Los Angeles, more chaos followed.

“During the club ownership change and sale agreement, my visa expired,” he explains.
