Prendergast delighted at Ahern and McCarthy Munster deals

Tom Ahern and Shay McCarthy have both signed new two-year deals with Munster.

Mike Prendergast has welcomed the new contracts for Tom Ahern and Shay McCarthy that will keep the young players at Munster for the next couple of seasons.

Following on from recent announcements of new deals for Gavin Coombes, Shane Daly and Alex Nankivell, both wing McCarthy and lock-flanker Ahern have signed two-year contracts to stay with their home province until the summer of 2027.
