RG Snyman nears Leinster return but still uncertain for Benetton clash

The South African will step up his rehabilitation programme further this week as he nears a return from a foot injury

Leo Cullen has issued an injury update ahead of Saturday’s URC Round 3 match against Benetton in Treviso.

Former Munster lock RG Snyman is nearing a return to full fitness and may be available for selection on Saturday, however it is still uncertain. The South African will step up his rehabilitation programme further this week as he nears a return from a foot injury.

Loosehead prop Michael Milne came through the game on Friday with no issues after his recovery from an ankle injury and will also be ready to take on the Italian side when the opportunity presents itself.

Unavailable for selection: D Sheehan, J Boyle, J McKee, P McCarthy and T O’Brien.
