Munster’s coaching ticket led by Graham Rowntree has been handed a huge vote of confidence ahead of the 2024-25 season with the province’s chief executive telling the Irish Examiner he wants the collective to stay together for “a long time to come”.

Former Leicester City commercial director Ian Flanagan returned to his native Cork as the late Garrett Fitzgerald’s successor in 2019, at the same as Rowntree joined Johann van Graan’s staff as forwards coach.
