Rowntree vows not to let semi-final failure derail journey

The Munster boss said there were plenty of grounds for optimism that his squad can continue to trend upwards in 2024-25.

Graham Rowntree insisted Munster will not be derailed by their 17-10 URC semi-final loss to Glasgow Warriors as the province turns the page to next season.

Munster were beaten by the better team at Thomond Park on Saturday on a dismal day for Irish Rugby that also saw Leinster lose their semi-final at the Bulls, who will now host the Warriors at Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria in this Saturday’s URC Grand Final.
