Rugby may be a game of inches but for Munster this week the focus has been on the last five metres as they prepare to step up to the line for Saturday’s URC semi-final with old foes Glasgow Warriors.

And what better way for the defending champions to gear up for the Thomond Park clash than last Friday’s quarter-final victory at home to the Ospreys, a 23-7 win founded on Munster’s adaptability to implement the right gameplan at the right time and to switch the emphasis when necessary.
