Munster will have Diarmuid Barron, Antoine Frisch and Josh Wycherley back on the training field ahead of Friday’s URC quarter-final against Ospreys but Tom Ahern, Joey Carbery, and Rory Scannell have all been ruled out of the Thomond Park knockout clash.

Lock/flanker Ahern, a second-half replacement last Saturday in the home victory over Ulster on the last day of the regular season, sustained an ankle/lower leg injury in the 29-24 derby win and could miss the rest of the campaign, should Munster progress from thr last eight this weekend.
