The URC playoffs lie another week away, and there are loose ends to be addressed when Leinster meet Connacht in the last regular round of games in Ballsbridge this evening, but it’s hard not to cast an eye beyond the boundaries of the coming weeks.

This will be Leinster’s last game in the soon-to-be redone RDS given they are already booked in to play an already guaranteed home quarter-final at the Aviva Stadium and Croke Park is the destination should they earn home berths in the last two rounds.
