Top 14: Defeat at Bordeaux leaves Ronan O'Gara's La Rochelle hanging onto final play-off place

Ronan O’Gara’s La Rochelle were left hanging on to the sixth and final Top 14 play-off place after slipping to 34-14 loss at Bordeaux, their third defeat in their last four matches.

The result left them one point ahead of seventh-placed Pau, two ahead of Castres in eighth, and five clear of 10th-placed Clermont with three matches of the domestic campaign left – against Pau, Toulouse and Racing 92.
