Doris: 'It was a step up from what we've experienced in the Aviva'

Investec Champions Cup Semi-Final, Croke Park, Dublin, Ireland 4/5/2024

Leinster captain Caelan Doris spoke of his pleasure of doing “just about enough” to get over the line against Northampton Saints on Saturday and book their ticket to the Champions Cup final in London on May 25.

Leinster had been 20-3 ahead with 48 minutes gone after executing their gameplan in a thoroughly professional manner, finished off by a James Lowe hat-trick of tries. Yet Doris admitted his side had hit a lull following that, which allowed the English Premiership leaders back into the semi-final in front of a competition record 82,300 sold-out crowd in the first club rugby game to be played at Croke Park since 2009.
