Home advantage for today’s Energia All Ireland League semi-finals was this season’s number one priority for Cork Constitution last summer but having ticked that box, head coach Johnny Holland has warned it will only take the club so far in this afternoon’s Temple Hill clash with Clontarf.

Cork Con members have finally been rewarded with a home semi-final with a second-place finish in Division 1A meaning they have avoided a hat-trick of consecutive trips north to Dublin. Con’s two previous draws took the 2019 champions to Clontarf in 2022 and Terenure College 12 months ago, both ending in knockout misery for Holland’s side.
