Connacht coach Pete Wilkins has a points tally in his head that he feels his side needs to get to if they are to secure a knockout place in the URC and a spot in next season’s Champions Cup, but for he’s concentrating on the visit of basement side Zebre to the Sportsground this Saturday night.
It will be a major upset if Connacht fail to get all five points against a Zebre side who have won just two matches in the past three seasons and have not defeated an Irish province since they won in Galway over six years ago. Connacht have won 14 of the 17 games they have played against the beleaguered Parma side who continue to be the whipping boys of the league.
