A year ago this week, Munster were sent reeling by a Thomond Park defeat to Glasgow Warriors that continues to haunt Graham Rowntree and his assistants as they prepare for the business end of the current season.
The province had been torn apart in their backyard by the Scots, trailing 31-0 at half-time in the third-from-last game of their regular season league campaign. With two away games to follow in South Africa, a play-off place was in the balance and Munster did not have the look of the potential URC champions they would become just seven weeks later as they trudged off the pitch after a 38-26 home defeat.
