Antoine Frisch has been dangled a carrot to stay the course for Ireland recognition after spending the week in camp with France.

The 27-year-old centre qualifies for both the French, the land of his birth, and Ireland, through a Dublin-born grandmother. He joined Munster from Bristol Bears in the summer of 2022 to pursue his Irish ambitions and was selected for the Emerging Ireland tour to South Africa that autumn but has not been involved with the national squad since, with Bundee Aki, Robbie Henshaw and Garry Ringrose dominating midfield selection.
