Possible to have a rant without being cranky? Or is one a consequence of the other? I reckon it’s not that difficult when your emotions are in neutral. It might have come across from the raw quotes afterwards that I was seething last Saturday when La Rochelle tumbled to a 28-17 loss in Lyon, having been 14-3 up. And blanked in the second half too, by the way.

Yes I am frustrated. Though more reflective than annoyed. Wondering whether some lads with two stars on their shirts might believe their legacy is already banked and it’s okay to circumnavigate the hard yards.
