Sebastian Negri ruled out for Ireland clash 

The flanker was injured during their opening round clash against England in Rome.

Italy suffer a blow before their Guinness Six Nations game against Ireland as experienced flanker Sebastian Negri is ruled out due to injury.

Negri picked up a rib contustion against England in their opening clash of the Championship in Rome which will see him miss this weekends game.

The flanker has returned to his club Benetton to rehab his injury and hopes are that he will be fit to return for their third round game when the Azzurri head to Lille to take on France.
