15 – Hugo Keenan: One of Ireland’s stand-out performers in the last two years, Keenan showed his worth with a try-saving tackle on Damian Penaud. There was another thumping contribution as France pressed hard towards half-time, Keenan setting a fine example that others followed. 8 

14 – Calvin Nash: Much was expected of the replacement for Mack Hansen and much was needed too given the work-rate and involvement of the injured wing. Nash took time to get into the game but came into his own the longer the match went on and richly deserved his try. 7
