Munster will head into their final Champions Cup pool game with Northampton Saints this Saturday determined to back up last weekend’s famous victory in Toulon in front of an expected sell-out crowd at Thomond Park.

The province reported yesterday that 23,000 tickets had already been sold for the visit of the English Premiership leaders and unbeaten Pool 3 table-toppers, who will want to hang on to first place in Pool 3 to earn a top seeding for the knockout stages and a home draw all the way through the Round of 16, quarter-finals and semis.
