Graham Rowntree praised his player’s ability to absorb pressure and take their chances as Munster returned to winning ways with a stunning 29-18 Champions Cup pool victory over Toulon at Stade Felix Mayol on Saturday.

It was injury-hit Munster’s first win in six weeks, including a home draw with Pool 3 rivals Bayonne and defeat at Exeter Chiefs before Christmas. It has catapulted Rowntree’s team into the mix for a home Round of 16 draw in Europe in April with one pool match remaining, against unbeaten Northampton Saints at Thomond Park next Saturday.
