Exeter expecting a battle royale against Munster 

Munster will certainly have to power up based on last weekend’s arm wrestle with Bayonne, who enjoyed early scrum dominance and then formed a solid defensive wall in front of their posts when the home side went looking for a response to their late equalising try.

This is not the Chiefs director of rugby’s first rodeo when it comes to playing Munster and ahead of this fourth meeting between the sides in this competition, he knows where Graham Rowntree’s men will be coming from emotionally following their deeply disappointing 17-17 draw with Champions Cup debutants Bayonne at Thomond Park last Saturday.
