This is not the Chiefs director of rugby’s first rodeo when it comes to playing Munster and ahead of this fourth meeting between the sides in this competition, he knows where Graham Rowntree’s men will be coming from emotionally following their deeply disappointing 17-17 draw with Champions Cup debutants Bayonne at Thomond Park last Saturday.
