Former Australian sevens player John Porch has been at Connacht long enough to know how important it is to play in the Champions Cup and can also appreciate how vital it is to perform in it when they get the opportunity.

That is what has made the fallout from the 41-5 hammering at home by Bordeaux-Bègles at the weekend all the harder to take and the 29-year old said they now need to respond this Saturday away to three-time champions Saracens.
