Veteran prop John Ryan not willing to be a spectator for Munster

Rejoining a squad for whom the mantra of late has been, if you’re good enough your old enough could have been daunting for 35-year-old John Ryan but the veteran tighthead prop has not come back to Munster to be a spectator.
There may be Six Nations and Super Rugby medals of varying hues in the Ryan locker, while a URC winner’s gong from last season is on the way to join them, but the Corkman is driven to play an integral part in any future Munster success having made his third debut for his home province last month.
