Craig Casey returns to Munster squad

Joey Carbery is going for a scan on a wrist injury he picked up against Benetton.

Craig Casey returns to the Munster training squad after his World Cup involvement with Ireland. Joey Carbery is going for a scan today to assess a wrist injury he picked up against Benetton last weekend. 

Paddy Patterson (knee) and Seàn O'Brien (thigh) made their first appearances of the season at the weekend in Treviso after recovering from injury with O'Brien making his debut for Munster.

Liam Coombes who had a thigh injury and Jack O'Sullivan who was out with a knee injury make a welcome return to training this week. Josh Wycherley picked up a neck injury which is being treated by the medical team and will be unavailable for this weeks clash. 

Niall Scannell and Andrew Conway are also unavailable for this weekend. 

Simon Zebo (foot), Patrick Campbell (ankle), Roman Salanoa (knee), Mike Haley (hip), Cian Hurley (ankle/achilles).

Munster take on the Dragons on Saturday (5.15pm) in Musgrave Park in round three of the URC.
