It’s nine seasons since Connacht won both of their opening league games but they have an opportunity to do that this Saturday (3pm) when Glasgow Warriors provide the opposition at the Sportsground.

It’s the second of three successive home URC matches for Connacht — they welcome Ulster next weekend — and head coach Pete Wilkins knows how important it is to make these count, not least as they started away from home last season in three matches and lost them all.
