Worcester’s Gallagher Premiership future is hanging by a thread after the club was partially liquidated on what director of rugby Steve Diamond labelled the “darkest day for English rugby”.
HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) is pursuing the Warriors, who are suspended from all competitions, for unpaid tax in the region of £6million.
