No role for Ireland as England in talks to host 2031 Rugby World Cup  

RFU chair Tom Ilube has revealed the ambition to bid for the 2031 World Cup (PA)

England have set their sights on hosting the 2031 World Cup with discussions over putting together a bid already under way at the Rugby Football Union.

But Ireland, Scotland and Wales will not be involved in the bid.
