Lion's Peter O'Mahony omitted completely from squad to play All Blacks on Saturday

Warren Gatland has revealed the tough discussions that led to British & Irish Lions' first Test captain Peter O'Mahony being omitted completely from the second Test squad to face the All Blacks this Saturday, writes Simon Lewis.

The Lions head coach unveiled his matchday squad for Saturday's must-win game against world champions New Zealand, restoring tour captain Sam Warburton to the back row at the expense of Ireland flanker Peter O'Mahony, who also missed out on a bench spot to Munster team-mate CJ Stander.
