The South African public are extremely disgruntled following the shock defeat to Italy on Saturday, not least the newspaper Die Burger, who have scolded the Springboks in today's player ratings,.
A routine procedure on every sports page, player ratings gives you a glimpse of how well/ bad (delete as appropriate) an athlete has performed.
After their defeat to Italy at the weekend, it's great to see South African newspaper Die Burger are still behind their national rugby team. pic.twitter.com/qfyqwyNFrk— Unibet Racing (@UnibetRacing) November 21, 2016
Were the Springboks really THAT bad though?
Following a defeat to 14-man Ireland in June, four losses in the Rugby Championship, a draw to the Barbarians and losses to England and now Italy, Allister Coetzee's job seems to be hanging in the balance.
And the ruthless South African public aren't letting up.
Heyneke had to go after the Boks lost to Japan. And Coetzee has to go after the Boks lost to Italy.— Simon Borchardt (@SimonBorchardt) November 19, 2016
Alistair Coetzee should do the unSouth African thing and resign.— Eusebius McKaiser (@Eusebius) November 19, 2016
