Joe Schmidt commits to Ireland until 2019 World Cup

The IRFU have announced that Ireland head coach Joe Schmidt will continue in his role up to the end of the Rugby World Cup 2019 in Japan.

Schmidt has coached the Ireland team since 2013 and enjoyed considerable success, masterminding back-to-back Six Nations wins in 2014 and 2015.
