Australia flanker Michael Hooper will share the vice-captain’s armband with Adam Ashley-Cooper as he makes his first appearance at a Rugby World Cup.

The 24-year-old Waratahs player and his former club team-mate Ashley-Cooper - now heading to Bordeaux – will support nominated skipper Stephen Moore, who is preparing for his third straight Rugby World Cup campaign, in a 31-man squad announced by Wallabies head coach Michael Cheika on Friday.
