WATCH: Lost four-year-old wanders onto rugby pitch; scores a try

Chloe Kearns brought her four-year-old son to a legends charity game between New South Wales and Queensland, little knowing that he would end up playing a big part in the proceedings.

The boy got separated from his mother and managed to make his way onto the pitch.

He was spotted by one of the New South Wales players, who decided to get him involved in the game.

He handed the boy the ball and encouraged him to run the length of the pitch for a try.

The other players got involved too, carefully “tackling” him as he ran happily down the field, before being carried the last few yards over the tryline.

He was even given the chance to make the conversion.

Nicely done!
