WATCH: Four Irish players nominated for the PRO12 try of the season

Two players from Munster and one each from Ulster and Connacht have been nominated for the Sky Sports Guinness PRO12 Try of the Season.

Robin Copeland, Craig Gilroy, Jack O'Donoghue and Matt Healy have all made the shortlist for PRO12 try of the year.

It is a ringing endorsement of Irish participation in the competition, with the Irish contingent making up half of the eight nominees.

Robin Copeland and up-and-coming Waterford player Jack O’Donoghue are in the running for Munster, for tries against Ulster and Cardiff Blues respectively.

Craig Gilroy is nominated for Ulster and Matt Healy for Connacht - both for tries scored against Scarlets.

Glasgow Warriors are the only other team with two nominations - for Josh Strauss and Peter Horne.

The final two nominations went to Scarlets player John Barclay and Phil Burleigh of Edinburgh.
