WATCH: See Ireland fans take over Murrayfield as Ireland retain Six Nations

The Irish rugby world is celebrating historic back-to-back Six Nations victories after an emotional roller-coaster of a final day.

Our reporter Shaun Cronin was at the Ireland game and stayed back with thousands of other Irish fans to watch the England - France game play out on the big screen.

With Ireland needing the visitors to keep within 26 points of England at Twickenham the crowd was behind France all the way.

Hence the incredible reaction when France scored in the second half.

Ireland fans then turned Murrayfield into the Aviva with a rousing rendition of ‘The Fields Of Athenry’.

And 'Living on a Prayer'.

Before going absolutely ballistic when the final whistle went to make Ireland Six Nations Champions for the second year in a row.

Their reward for staying - to be there to witness this heroic Ireland team take the field to be crowned Champions.

What a crowd, what an achievement and what an unbelievable afternoon of sport.

We’ll leave the last word to Shaun.
