The Aviva stadium was the scene of a lively Halloween party today with thousands of witches, ghosts and assorted monsters packing the stands to watch their rugby heroes train.

The brave men on the Irish team weren’t spooked by their unusual audience and took part in an energetic training session in preparations for next month’s international fixtures.

Afterwards the players took time to sign autographs and pose for pictures with their supporters.
