Ireland’s most capped women’s rugby player Lynne Cantwell said they were confident going into last night’s World Cup match that they could beat New Zealand and believe they can achieve more in the competition.

The Irish team recorded a historic 17-14 win over the Black Ferns, that side’s first loss in a World Cup since 1991.
