Rugby stars say thanks to BOD, but not the French

With Brian O’Driscoll last game for Ireland coming up on Saturday, some of the Six Nations biggest players have gathered in appreciation of the world’s most capped rugby international.

O’Driscoll will make international appearance 141 against France at Stade de France in Ireland’s Six Nations decider.

A victory should see Ireland win the championship and O’Driscoll ride off into the sunset with his second Six Nations medal.

Ireland’s Paul O’Connell, Sean O’Brien, Paddy Jackson and Robbie Henshaw all feature as well as England’s Mike Brown, Marland Yarde, George Ford, Manu Tuilagi and Courtney Lawes.

Wales’ George North and Adam Jones, Scotland’s Richie Grey and Italy’s Simone Favaro round out the tributes.

Now it’s clearly a PR move by Adidas, but it is hard to ever doubt the sincerity of Paul O’Connell.

Yes, we too noticed the lack of a France player despite a number being sponsored by the brand.

Mind games.
