O'Brien close to Toulon deal
Toulon are close to sealing a deal to bring Sean O'Brien to the club.
It has been reported the Leinster and Ireland back row will travel to France this week, as the move gets closer to being finalised.
French sources confirmed that the Leinster, Irish and Lions’ flanker is set to return to the city this week after having checked out the club’s facilities and Stade Felix Mayol stadium last week.
It is understood that IRFU negotiations with his agent have stalled, with Toulon's offer said to be considerably more remunerative.
He is out injured for at least four months after a shoulder operation.
Jamie Heaslip is also reportedly being chased by the club.
