Elwood makes two changes for Munster clash

Having seen his team win their last three league encounters, Connacht head coach Eric Elwood has kept changes to a minimum for tomorrow night’s RaboDirect PRO12 meeting with Munster at Musgrave Park (5.45pm).

There are just two personnel changes to the team that beat Zebre with Dave McSharry returning in midfield and George Naoupu coming into the second row.

Tomorrow’s game will be McSharry’s first since the January 18 Heineken Cup encounter with Zebre. He partners Eoin Griffin in the centre.

Dan Parks, who has kicked 100 league points this season, is named in a half back pairing with Connacht academy graduate Kieran Marmion.

Robbie Henshaw starts at full-back in a back three with skipper Gavin Duffy and this season's leading try scorer Danie Poolman.

Up front, Naoupu joins Mick Kearney in the second row. Naoupu replaces Andrew Browne who moves to Blindside Flanker, while John Muldoon starts at Number 8.

Ireland international Mike McCarthy is named in the match day squad and is set to earn his 150th cap for Connacht should he be called upon tomorrow evening in Cork.

Frank Murphy, Dave Nolan, Johnny O'Connor, Michael Swift and Kyle Tonetti are unavailable for selection due to injury.

Connacht (v. Munster): R Henshaw; D Poolmanm, E Griffin, D McSharry, G Duffy (capt); D Parks, K Marmion; B Wilkinson, J Harris-Wright, N White; M Kearney, G Naoupu; A Browne, W Faloon, J Muldoon.

Replacements: A Flavin, D Buckley, R Loughney, M McCarthy, E McKeon, P O'Donohoe, M Nikora, F Vainikolo
