O’Mahony 'surprised as anyone' by wing role against Italy

Ireland flanker Peter O’Mahony was as surprised as anyone when he was asked to play over half of yesterday’s 22-15 RBS 6 Nations defeat by Italy on the wing.

Once more injury thinned the Irish ranks as it had done all championship, the only difference being that in Rome it struck early in the second quarter.
