Ireland's most capped player Ronan O'Gara could have played his last international game after been left out of the Declan Kidney's 32-man training squad ahead of Saturday's Six Nations clash with France.

The Ireland head coach has gone for Paddy Jackson and Ian Madigan as back-up to Jonathan Sexton who is a major doubt for the weekend with a hamstring injury.

O'Gara will be 36 later this week and he has played 128 times for Ireland and scored more than 1,000 points.

Dan Tuohy, Tommy O’Donnell, Robbie Diack, Dave Kearney and Eoin O’Malley have all been included in the extended squad that will train in Maynooth later this morning.
