Madigan joins Irish squad in training

Leinster out half Ian Madigan will train with the rest of the Irish squad today after being called up as cover for the injured Dave McSharry last night.

Ronan O'Gara is expected to start on Sunday in the absence of the injured Johnny Sexton, however Kidney called Ulster number 10 Paddy Jackson into the squad before Madigan was brought in as cover.

Former Munster and Ireland hooker Frankie Sheahan has given Madigan his backing to be on the bench this weekend adding it might be too early for 21-year-old Jackson to get the nod.
