Schmidt: Leinster living off “sliver” of Heineken Cup hope

Leinster head coach Joe Schmidt has admitted that the odds are stacked heavily against his team progressing to the knockout stages of the Heineken Cup.

Saturday’s 21-28 defeat to Clermont Auvergne at the Aviva Stadium handed the French outfit complete control of Pool 5 having claimed back-to-back wins over the eastern province.
