O’Donnell at risk of missing Saracens clash
Munster flanker Tommy O'Donnell is the one player from last weekend's encounter with Glasgow Warriors who is considered doubtful for the province’s Heineken Cup clash with Saracens in Thomond Park on Saturday (6pm).
O'Donnell was in blistering form in the opening half against the Scottish side, setting up the first try and scoring the second, before an ankle injury forced him to retire in the 48th minute.
Should the injury force him to miss the first of the back-to-back clashes with Saracens, the Munster management are optimistic that he will back in consideration for the second game in London on Sunday week.
Meanwhile, Alan Cotter returns from his sojourn with Bath Rugby.
The 25-year-old tighthead prop is expected to be training with the squad in UL tomorrow.
