English score record-breaking win over All Blacks

England 38 New Zealand 21

England’s young men came of age at Twickenham with a record-breaking victory over world champions New Zealand.

Owen Farrell kicked England into a 15-0 lead before the All Blacks hit back with two tries in three second-half minutes from Julian Savea and Kieran Read.

But England responded with a three-try blitz from Brad Barritt, Chris Ashton and Manu Tuilagi before Freddie Burns came off the bench to land two penalties.

Savea scored a second but it was a late consolation as nothing could deny England their first win against New Zealand in nine years.
