Dempsey handed Leinster academy role

Former Ireland international and Leinster player Girvan Dempsey has been appointed to the role of Academy Manager for Leinster.

Dempsey, who has been involved with the province as a player from schools level right up to the professional ranks, has been working within the player development structures of the IRFU and Leinster Rugby since 2010 when he was appointed as an elite player development officer.
