Six changes for Munster ahead of Scarlets clash
Munster head coach Rob Penney has made six changes to his starting XV for Sunday’s RaboDirect PRO12 clash with Scarlets at Musgrave Park (5.15pm).
One of those changes is positional, Ian Keatley moves back to his favoured ten spot with Ronan O’Gara named on the bench for Ireland’s meeting with Argentina.
Two are injury enforced with Niall Ronan back after almost two months replacing Sean Dougall and Paddy Butler in for Tommy O’Donnell who limped out of the game against Leinster A last week with an ankle injury.
Elsewhere, Wian du Preez starts ahead of Marcus Horan, Ian Nagle partners Billy Holland this time around and James Downey is back as centre partner for Casey Laulala.
Captain Doug Howlett and Luke O’Dea occupy the wings with Felix Jones completing the back three.
New back rower CJ Stander is named among a strong replacements bench which includes Marcus Horan, Damien Varley, BJ Botha and Peter Stringer.
