Mtawarira leaves tour suffering heart condition

Prop Tendai Mtawarira has returned home from South Africa’s tour of Europe following his withdrawal from Saturday’s Test with Ireland due to heart palpitations.

Mtawarira, nicknamed ’The Beast’, travelled with the Springboks squad from Dublin to Edinburgh yesterday ahead of Saturday’s EMC Test with Scotland, but will now return home.
