Clean bill of health for Munster

Munster emerged from their 33-0 Heineken Cup win over Edinburgh on Sunday without picking up any major fresh injury concerns.

Paul O'Connell and Donncha O'Callaghan were both replaced in the second half but there was nothing untoward in either case.

O'Callaghan was just over a hamstring injury that kept him out of the Racing game while O'Connell was deemed to have done enough on the hour mark in just his second game back.

Felix Jones also came through unscathed after making his first appearance at this level since May and though Casey Laulala received attention several times in the early part of the game for a groin problem, he played the full 80 and is reported to be fit and well.

Ronan O'Gara is not expected to be involved against Zebre on Friday but both he and Keith Earls could see a return to action in early November.

Wian du Preez is looking at a similar timeframe while it's likely to be towards the end of November before Niall Ronan gets back.

Other than those, Rob Penney will have a full deck to deal from when he sits down to select his side for the visit of Zebre to Thomond Park Stadium next Friday.
